Rather than relying on the ability to lean back in your seat as with most travel pillows, SkyRest recognizes that this is not always easy or possible. To use SkyRest you lean forward rather than backward to rest your head. SkyRest does not require any particular configuration of the seat. It doesn't matter if the seat tilts back, how high the seat back is or where or even if there is any sort of head rest. It is designed to inflate and deflate very quickly, and can be packed into your carry-on luggage and inflated once you are in your seat. It is very lightweight and can easily be moved around to allow for passenger traffic.
